There are 90% of people have experienced sleep paralysis experience in their life.

Some people experience it more often than others.  Most of the people find this experience terrifying while for some people this is an amazing, exciting experience for them.

There are two kinds of sleep paralysis in my theory 

1: Natural Sleep Paralysis: This is a natural experience. It happens when you wake up from sleep and find yourself in sleep paralysis. You feel half aware, half asleep, and drifting. Many people forget about it and drift to sleep.

2: Waking Paralysis: This is called waking paralysis because you feel fully aware and conscious. It happens when you go to sleep and as being aware and half-conscious and you trigger it or the wave of sleep paralysis comes over to you. 

(This state is also triggered when you become ill and sleep or if you have pain in muscles, especially in your legs and thighs if you go to sleep as lying straight)


Why do we experience sleep paralysis ? The scientific theory

The general scientific explanation is that the brain dissociates itself from the physical body when we sleep, and enters in the dream state,The general scientific explanation is that the brain dissociates itself from the physical body when we sleep and enters the dream state ostensibly to stop the physical body from harming about, mimicking its dream actions. 

During the dream, you are always involved in movements, and actions such as running, walking, swimming, flying, eating, etc.  So the body gets paralyzed, if this doesn't happen then you also move your physical body with your dream body movement, and that's why it becomes important and necessary for your body.

What happens during sleep paralysis ?

When your body is asleep and your mind is still partially awake, the mind is between the threshold of sleep, then sleep paralysis occurs. In my experience 3 waves comes over to your body and body starts to paralyzing. 

These signs below can be seen or experienced.

Your body is deeply relaxed, you feel body and muscles heaviness, and you may feel different sensations, and light vibrations in the body, you may feel the times and environment seems slowdowns, a little voice may feel like explode and you feel energy rushes in the solar plexus energy center and then last you feel as the cozy cold wave of the energy is running through your body from head to toe.

Peoples experiences different unknown things in this state. Some are common that everyone experiences such as you may hear strange voices, you hear as someone calling your name, you may feel as something like a heavy blanket over your chest, and may also feel the presence of unknown entities.

Remember Sleep paralysis is the final stage when dreams start fully and your consciousness draws to the inner self or immerse in the deep subconscious mind.

Sleep paralysis is the attraction and manifestation stage so If you engage in emotions such as fear you will attract them as in the dreams happens.

The mind controls dreams with our intentions, emotions, and thoughts. You attract manifest things in the dream that you intend or think about them.

Let's understand more I tell you my story that how the mind reacts to emotions and intentions.

I dreamed I was going to my house the road was empty, deserted no one was there, and it was nighttime so as I was going, I was also thinking that I should be careful of the dogs they might be here and as my mind started thinking about the dogs, I felt the fear. 

( I actually always afraid of dogs, because I was bitten by a dog hardly in my childhood so I was afraid of the dogs)

Anyways as I felt fear and when I looked back to check, I saw the dog over there, a black dog was looking and staring at me.  I was scared and ran so fast and the dog followed me, I ran fast and reached home and I woke up.

The point is that if you add fear imotion in the sleep paralysis, you will attract it. If you might know that fear is powerful emotion so  the mind reacts to it fast.

Some people actually get afraid, they start to think that an unknown entity is sitting over their body and pressing their neck muscles, that's why they can't breathe, etc.. but this isn't true, there is no entity in your room or pressing your neck. This is because of your fear. 

When you get afraid you will attract it and your mind does its best to make the situation scary so if you start to feel that there is an entity then you will manifest them and experience it as real.

Sleep paralysis is powerful and deep trance stage of the mind it is also known as the mystical stage because visions, true dreams, and clairvoyance visions can be seen in this stage once mastered.

Sleep paralysis is the best state to induce lucid dream or out-of-body experience.

Sleep paralysis occurs in the deep trance state and it intense when time passes.


 How to induce wakeful Sleep paralysis state.
  • 1: Make yourself in the deep state, you can do this by doing any trance technique, progressive relaxation or with meditation.
  • 2:- Once you will relax yourself deeply these signs you will experience. Once you experience these symptoms then sleep paralysis phase starts.
  • Sign 1: You may feel first slight sensation, vibrations and energy rushes in the body these are slight but intense only if your state deepens or relaxation deepens.
  • Sign 2: You may feel body heaviness and muscle deep relaxation. It is possible you may feel urges to move the body. (Remember the state deepens only when you don't move the body muscles).
  • Sign 3: When the body state deepens Vibration, sensations, and energy rushes intense. Energy rushes can be experienced throughout the body. It feels like electricity running in the body from toe to head.
  • Sign 4: When the sleep paralysis state is near or when your body is starting paralyzing muscles, you may feel the cozy energy wave in the body from toes to head.
  • 3: When sleep paralysis first phase starts, your brain starts to paralyze the muscles, in the first if you move and break the state, you will feel slight difficulty but you can move your body.  When your body experiences the last phases of sleep paralysis then you will feel difficulty to move and might can't move your body.

How to break Sleep Paralysis state ?
  • 1:- First most peoples get scared of this state so first relax yourself and give affirmations mentally. This is natural state so no need to be afraid.
  • 2:- If you move you muscles, when the first phases of sleep paralysis starts then you will break it and come in the normal deep state of relaxation.
  • 3:- Most peoples wake up and feel their bodies paralyzed. In this case the simplest method, the one most people prefer, is to clear the mind (refuse to fear) and concentrate on moving a single big toe. 
  • A big toe is the easiest body part to reanimate during a waking-paralysis state. Once a big toe moves, even slightly, waking paralysis will end. Or imagine yourself and feel as if you are moving your big toe or hand, fingers.
How to enter in lucid dream from sleep paralysis ?
  • 1:- First you should know that sleep paralysis is the state and our body experience it in only  deep trance state. Sleep paralysis is a state when the mind is ready to dream and if you stay still without moving your body muscles and sleep you will probably enter in a lucid dream.
  • 2:- If you pay attention to behind your closed eyes, you will see Hypnagogic imagery such as Images, short dreams etc. So if you watch them without getting distracted or watching any detail of the scene, you will enter in a dream with full awareness. 
(Inducing lucid dream through a Hypnagogia state is not easy, if it is your first time, then you may fail at first so it takes time. With the training of hypnagogia you can induce lucid dream easily).
  • 3:- In the sleep paralysis, imagine and feel as sinking in the bed as like in the water. Create the feeling take help from your past swimming memories. Once you feel and create the sensation and sink you will jump and find yourself in a lucid dream. 
(You may find yourself in the same room in which you are sleeping and might wonder, it is out of body experience but it is a lucid dream ).
  • 4:- 
  • Roll out your bed: Imagine and feel yourself rolling out of the bed don't move your physical body but your imaginary body. Roll and you will enter in lucid dream again, you may find yourself in the same room. 
  • See if you can see your physical body lying in the bed and if you see yourself lying and watching it through astral body view you might be experiencing Astral projection. 
  • This is basically the astral projection method. Some people astral project with this method and some people find themselves in the same room and they experience lucid dreams, not astral projection. Check and see if you are lucid dreaming or astral projecting.
